Who am I?
I’m Toby Martini, a communications specialist. A what??
Let me put it this way – I can help you figure out the right words for your right people. That includes the words on your website, the things you say on FaceBook and Twitter, and what you say when you meet actual people (gasp!) in the real world, either through networking or even in workshops or seminars.
I’ve been a web geek for almost 20 years. I was the webmaster for the CitiBank intranet, the webmaster for Danka Office Imaging, and worked on the Verizon Intranet, too. And I’ve run Digital Martini for just over 13 years, handling every aspect of getting people launched on the Internet.
The biggest difference between me and most other web folks is that I am far more of a people-person than I am a tech-person. While I’m good with code, design and such, I’m far better at working with people, figuring out their words, coming up with fun, new business ideas, and creating simply great businesses.
I LOVE to hear someone’s idea and brainstorm all of the ways they can grow that, to expand it far beyond what they ever thought possible. It makes me wicked happy to create new ways to make products, services, and ideas for entrepreneurs and startups.
